EarthQuaker Devices Plumes Jr MOSFET Mod is a limited-edition overdrive that moves the Plumes Small Signal Shredder into a junior-size enclosure and swaps one of its clipping modes for MOSFET clipping. Released in 2026 as a limited run, it sits alongside the standard Plumes rather than replacing it.

A three-way toggle chooses the clipping voice. L clips through a pair of LEDs for the crunchiest, most compressed sound. N removes the clipping diodes, leaving op-amp drive that works as a clean boost or as a push into an amp that already breaks up.
M is the new setting. The asymmetrical silicon diodes of the standard pedal's third mode, a Screamer-style arrangement, give way to MOSFET clipping aimed at more harmonics, a fuller low end and a response closer to a cranked high-gain valve amp. The L and N settings follow Modes 1 and 2 of the full-size circuit.
One Tone knob sweeps from bass through mids to treble, so each mode keeps a simple EQ. A bass version with more gain, the Blumes Jr MOSFET Mod, was released alongside it.
