Strumming all strings shows which ones are out of tune in a single view. Picking one string switches to chromatic mode automatically. Strobe mode reaches an accuracy of 0.1 cent for fine work in the studio.
The 109-LED display uses an ambient light sensor to set its brightness, which helps on a dark stage and in sunlight. The output is muted while the tuner is active.
Bypass can be set to true bypass or to buffered bypass. Buffered mode keeps the tuner running all the time and helps with long cables or large boards. A DC output on the rear can power one other 9 V pedal. The PolyTune 3 Mini is the smaller version.
