Twilight Pulse Audioworks Fluoreszent has no attack or release knobs
An optical sustainer/compressor with fixed fast attack and slow release, a Blend that never goes fully dry and an active Lumin presence control on top.

There are no attack or release knobs on the Fluoreszent, the new optical sustainer/compressor from Twilight Pulse Audioworks. Attack is fixed fast and release fixed slow, and the maker says it tuned both so you don't have to second-guess them. That leaves four controls on top: Sustain, Master, Blend and Lumin.
The maker describes the goal as a compressor that holds notes and chords like a sustainer rather than an overbearing, saturating effect. It is meant to work on clean and overdriven signals alike and leave your dynamics and base tone intact.

Blend mixes your dry signal in parallel with the sustained one, but it doesn't go fully dry. About 15 to 20 percent of the effect stays in at the lowest setting. The maker says a fully dry setting wasn't very useful, and that this way you can max out Sustain and use the pedal as a tone enhancer.
Lumin is an active presence control. Turning it up boosts the high frequencies and turning it down cuts them. The maker says the sweet spot is in the middle and that the knob is there to match the pedal to the rest of your rig. It also says the Fluoreszent works with bass and with acoustic guitars that have pickups.
The maker's own store lists the Fluoreszent as new and in stock, and the brand also sells through dealers in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The launch video comes from the maker's own channel.
