Spurr Audio VSR-300 packs nine reverbs behind a colour screen
Spurr Audio's VSR-300 reverb offers nine algorithms, from Hall and Spring to Oil Can and Lo-Fi, plus a multi-function Shift knob and a Freeze footswitch.

Nine reverb algorithms, and a screen to tell you which one is running. The VSR-300 is a new digital reverb from Spurr Audio, with a colour display set in a round bezel on the left of the enclosure and the name Virtual Spatial Reflector printed under the VSR 300 logo.
Four of the algorithms are the familiar Hall, Room, Plate and Spring. The other five are what Spurr Audio groups as advanced and experimental textures: Shimmer, Reverse, Modulated, Oil Can and Lo-Fi, which the maker says runs an organic tape warble engine.

There are four knobs: Mix, Tone, Decay and Shift. Spurr Audio calls Shift a dedicated multi-function knob that alters key, algorithm-specific parameters on the fly. Prev and Next buttons under the screen step through the list, and the display updates to show the active algorithm.
The second footswitch is for Freeze. According to the maker, it captures sound textures in real time so you can build atmospheric pads and soundscapes on top of them.
The VSR-300 is listed as in stock on Spurr Audio's own web store.
The maker's demo below runs through the programs.
