Valeton VDS Series: dual-engine stereo delay, mod and pitch pedals
Valeton's VDS Series puts two effect engines in each of three compact stereo pedals: delay and reverb, dual modulation, and a dual-voice pitch shifter.

Three compact stereo pedals make up Valeton's new VDS Series, and each one runs two effect engines side by side. The VDS-1d pairs delay with reverb, the VDS-2d stacks two modulation engines, and the VDS-3d combines two pitch voices. All three have stereo inputs and outputs, a metal enclosure, and bypass that can be set to true or buffered.
What each pedal does
On the VDS-1d, mini toggles pick Standard, BBD or Tape delay and Hall, Plate or Spring reverb, and a third switch adds Shimmer to the reverb. Delay and reverb get their own mix knobs, and the reverb section also has Decay and a high-pass Filter. Holding the RVB footswitch freezes the reverb tail, which Valeton pitches as a way to sustain an ambient layer under your playing, while holding DLY enters tap tempo.
The VDS-2d splits six modulation types across its two engines: MOD 1 switches between flanger, chorus and phaser, and MOD 2 between rotary, filter and tremolo. A toggle sets series or parallel routing, and each engine has its own SPD and Depth knobs. Morph 1 sets the MOD 1 mix in series mode or the blend between the engines in parallel, while Morph 2 changes with the MOD 2 type, moving the rotary mic position, the filter frequency or the tremolo shape. Either footswitch can be held for tap tempo; Valeton lists independent tap tempo per engine, and its launch video mentions syncing the two.
On the VDS-3d, Pitch A steps from unison up to two octaves above, while Pitch B covers the same intervals downward. An A/B Wet knob balances the two voices and a Dry knob sets the level of the unaffected signal. Holding the CTRL footswitch glides along one of three paths chosen on a toggle (A to B, B to A, or both voices down to unison), and releasing it glides back, with Rise and Fall setting how long each move takes.
