Fuzz 1 is a basic fuzz with emphasis on the midrange. Fuzz 2 scoops the mids for a fuller sound with sharper harmonics. In Boost mode the Level knob is inactive, and Gain sets the amount of boost.
Treble and Bass each cut or boost their own range, so the two-band EQ can thin out or thicken any of the three modes. In the fuzz modes, Gain sets the amount of distortion while Level sets the output.
Switching is electronic rather than mechanical true bypass. The large hinged top cover acts as the footswitch.
