Behringer Zentara Overdrive is a transparent boost and overdrive that blends clean and clipped signal through a dual-potentiometer gain control. The pedal carries the same 0709-AKP model code as Behringer's earlier Centara Overdrive.

One Gain knob turns two potentiometers together, an updated take on a concentric gain control. At low settings the pedal passes a clean, boosted signal. Turning Gain up mixes in more overdrive from germanium diodes that clip softly.
A stepped-up internal voltage gives the all-analogue circuit extra headroom. Treble shapes the high end, and Output sets the final level. Suggested settings range from a clean boost for solos to edge-of-breakup push with Gain near 60 %, up to full overdrive.
Bypass is buffered, which limits high-frequency loss over long cable runs and pedal chains. The metal housing follows a vintage style.
