Behringer Zentara Mini Overdrive is a boost and overdrive pedal that puts the design of the Zentara Overdrive into a much smaller enclosure. Behringer offers it in gold (0709-AMV) and silver (0709-AMU) finishes, and both use the same Gain, Treble and Output layout.

One Gain knob turns two potentiometers at once, moving the pedal from clean boost into overdrive. Soft-clipping germanium diodes shape the clipped signal. A stepped-up internal voltage gives the circuit more headroom before it clips. Treble trims or lifts the top end, and Output sets the level.
At low Gain the Mini works as a clean boost for solos, or for pushing an amp at the edge of breakup. Higher settings add more overdrive, up to full saturation. Playing lighter cleans the sound up, while playing harder pushes it further.
Bypass is buffered, so the signal still passes through the pedal's electronics when the effect is off. The smaller footprint suits crowded or compact pedalboards where the standard Zentara takes up too much room.
