Released in its present USA production form in 2000, the circuit sits in the long Big Muff line that began in the late 1960s. Sustain sets distortion and sustain length, Tone sweeps from high treble voices to deeper bass-heavy settings, and Volume sets output level.
Sustained notes compress into the long decay associated with Big Muff circuits. The mid scoop that comes with that voicing can sit low in a dense band mix, so many players place a mid-focused overdrive ahead of it when they need more cut.
Signal path is mono with true bypass. The large enclosure needs more board space than nano or compact Big Muff variants.
