Twelve modes cover overdrive, blues, scream, a mild centre-style drive, several distortions, a high-gain mode derived from the Katana amplifier range, and fuzz. The X-Drive, X-Dist and X-Metal modes use Multi-Dimensional Processing for added string definition and clarity at high gain.
Each mode has a Param knob for one setting of its own, and a three-band EQ shapes the result. Fifteen boost types can sit in series for stacked drive voicings or in parallel with the main mode. A built-in gate with adjustable decay and threshold keeps the pedal quiet and tightens fast, heavy riffing.
The pedal stores 127 memories plus the current panel setting, recalled by footswitch or MIDI program change. An expression pedal or extra footswitches can be connected for real-time control, and bypass is buffered.
