Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi 2

A footswitchable crossover splits the signal into two bands. The HPF knob sets which frequencies reach the fuzz, from 115 Hz to 1 kHz. The LPF knob filters the clean path from 60 Hz to 10 kHz, so the low end stays clean under the distortion.

Blend mixes clean and fuzz signals when the crossover is off. Gate sets how loud the input must be before the noise gate opens, and turning it fully down disables it. A -10 dB input switch helps with active pickups.

The pedal has a main output, a buffered direct output of the dry signal and an XLR DI output for a desk or interface. Bypass is buffered. Holding the bypass footswitch gives momentary operation.
