The kit includes every part needed, and assembly requires no soldering. The instructions are written for players of any experience level. A tube of goop is included for concealing the diodes.

Gain runs from clean at its minimum to full overdrive, and the midrange rises as it turns up. At minimum Gain, Output can add up to 16 dB of clean boost. Treble is neutral at noon and boosts or cuts from there.

The Shamrock switch adds 4 dB of gain, more midrange and an extra stage of hard clipping. JHS performed this modification on Klon KTR pedals for several years. The kit is not affiliated with or endorsed by Klon.
