Gain, Output and Tone cover the usual overdrive settings. A dedicated 100Hz control cuts or boosts the deep low end. Cutting it gives a tighter, more focused sound, while boosting it gives a heavier, beefier tone.
The Bump switch selects an alternate EQ voicing that lifts the lows and mids. That gives a second tonal setting at the flick of a switch, without changing any knob positions.
The pedal is designed to sit in front of the '78 Custom Badass Distortion. Stacked that way, the two pedals give a range of amp-like gain structures without masking the guitar's tone.
