This updated version of the M109 adds lower noise circuitry, brighter LEDs and an aluminium housing. The sliders light up blue when the pedal is on, which makes the settings easy to read.
The range of bands suits guitar and bass. Players use it to shape the voicing of a drive pedal, fix a dull or harsh amp, or add a midrange lift for solos. Placed in an amp's effects loop, it can work as a lead boost.
Switching uses true bypass. For more bands, the M108S Ten Band EQ adds extra frequencies, separate volume and gain sliders, and two outputs.
