MXR Phase 90 (M101) is the standard orange analog phaser with a single Speed control and a status LED.

Speed sweeps from slow spatial shimmer to a fast swirling sweep. The modern block-logo M101 sits in the classic compact MXR enclosure and is a separate SKU from the Script Phase 90 LED (CSP101SL) and ’74 Vintage Phase 90 (CSP026) reissues.
Compared with Script-era circuits, owners repeatedly describe the block M101 as more aggressive, chewy, and resonant, with a stronger pulse. Script variants are usually called smoother and subtler.
Signal path is mono. The M101 is the everyday production Phase 90 most players mean by the orange box, not the Custom Shop Script or vintage recreations already catalogued separately on All Good Tones.
