Three modes decide how audio is captured. Delay mode keeps chopping the incoming signal into grains. Auto Freeze holds each new note or chord and keeps processing it. Layers mode sustains up to four notes or chords, each with its own fade-in and fade-out. This mode is a granular take on the MXR Layers pedal.
Size, Overlap, Pitch and Reverse shape the grains themselves. Overlap plays up to 30 grains at once, and Pitch spans two octaves down to two up. Time and Regen set delay and feedback, while Mix runs from dry to fully granular. Eight presets give ready starting points.
Holding Reverse or Mode while turning a knob opens a second layer: randomisation, reverb, filter, vibrato and tap tempo. A side switch sets the CTR jack as an expression or tap input or as a right output. Mono, wet/dry and true stereo output modes are available, and the footswitch can freeze the buffer.
