Mad Professor has announced the Milestone Fuzz Handwired, a germanium fuzz pedal, via its official YouTube channel and product page. Preorders are open for a second batch after the first batch sold out.
Mad Professor describes Milestone as a germanium fuzz inspired by vintage mixing consoles, built for modern boards. The company says a transformer circuit lets the pedal sit after buffers or other pedals without changing the fuzz character or losing touch sensitivity, so players can try unconventional order. Volume and Fuzz set level and gain; Bass and Treble are shelving EQ controls. Mad Professor also notes the EQ makes the pedal usable on bass guitar.
