Flattley marks 10 years with Reaper 10 AE distortion
Flattley's Reaper 10 AE revisits its first pedal for the brand's tenth year with hard and soft clipping plus a boost mode.

Ten years after its first production pedal, Flattley Guitar Pedals has a new take on the Reaper. The Reaper 10 AE is a dual-mode distortion with hard clipping, soft clipping and a boost path — three modes on one HC / BST / SC toggle around a more aggressive op-amp core.

Flattley says hard clipping uses vintage glass-envelope germanium diodes; soft clipping runs an asymmetric LED and silicon diode network; boost removes both clipping paths so the circuit can push an amp preamp into saturation. Volume, Gain and Tone stay the main controls. The maker frames the op-amp core as a nod to vintage rodent-style pedals it had not explored before.
The listing specifies a 125B enclosure measuring 119 x 64 x 40 mm including the lid, 9 V DC centre-negative power at 52 mA with no battery option, a purple halo light ring, and a purple etched aluminium foot topper. Construction is hand-wired in the UK as part of Flattley's Platinum Range. Full specs are on our Reaper 10 AE product page.
On the Flattley product page, the Reaper 10 AE shows five units in stock and backorder available if stock runs out.
