Lovepedal Overdrive 11 is marked as a 12AX7 tube overdrive
Lovepedal's Overdrive 11 is marked as a 12AX7 tube overdrive with Drive, Bass, Treble and Level knobs, now up for pre-order as a limited black-box build.
The Lovepedal Overdrive 11 is up for pre-order as a limited black-box build, and the lettering on its front panel is blunt about the circuit: 12AX7 tube overdrive, with a small valve symbol beside the knobs. Sean Michael's company lists it on its own Custom Shop storefront.
The maker's product listing frames it as a drive that brings out the player rather than adding a strong personality of its own. Lovepedal describes a range from edge-of-breakup grit to thick, sustaining drive, suited to adding a little grit to a clean amp or pushing one that is already cooking, with picking strength and the guitar's volume knob doing much of the shaping.
Four knobs and a big-output claim
The front panel shows four knobs, Drive, Bass, Treble and Level, and a single footswitch. The lower half of the listing, which is written about the Lovepedal OD11, says the Bass control thickens single-coil pickups or tightens humbuckers, while Treble can excite the shimmer in a pickup or tame a shrill rig.
That text also says the pedal has a high output level and, according to Lovepedal, can serve as a dynamic, uncoloured boost for your base tone as well as an overdrive.
The same passage lists 9 to 18 V operation, and says the higher voltage adds clean headroom and definition. Because that wording carries over from the OD11 description, it is worth confirming against the finished pedal. The listing gives no dimensions or current draw.
The listing reuses OD11 wording and a near-identical name, but does not say how the two relate. We have collected what is known on our Overdrive 11 product page, and the pedal is currently on pre-order from Lovepedal's own shop.
