Positive Grid Spark PEDAL packs amp modelling and a looper
Positive Grid launches Spark PEDAL with Spark 2’s HD Tone Engine, 33 amps, 43 effects, and a 60-second looper.

Positive Grid has launched Spark PEDAL, a compact amp-modelling multi-effects unit with a built-in 60-second looper for electric, acoustic, and bass. A Positive Grid blog post frames the launch.

The pedal uses the same HD Tone Engine as Spark 2, with 33 amp models, 43 effects, and access to more than 100,000 ToneCloud tones via the Spark app. Five knobs cover drive, modulation, delay, and reverb as well as amp gain and EQ, with a multifunction centre control for amp type and Amp/FX mode. Three steel footswitches recall six presets across two banks or run looper actions including record, overdub, play/stop, and undo.
Stereo 1/4-inch line outs, headphones, USB-C audio interface duty, TRS MIDI, and an expression input cover PA, recording, silent practice, and use ahead of an existing amp with cab simulation disabled. Bluetooth links the free Spark app for editing and ToneCloud browsing; Wi-Fi supports over-the-air firmware updates. A built-in rechargeable battery is rated for up to about 7 hours, with roughly 4.5 hours to recharge. Listed size is 175 × 104 × 54.8 mm with knobs fitted; weight is 0.56 kg. The box includes a USB-C cable and MIDI adapters.
