Warm Audio Centavo Mod keeps the gold circuit in a smaller box
Centavo Mod keeps the full-size Centavo circuit in a smaller gold box, with top jacks and the rear MOD bass switch still on board.

The circuit is the story, not a new gain stage. Warm Audio says Centavo Mod keeps the full-size Centavo's design and parts, then drops that path into a smaller gold enclosure with the jacks on the top edge. Gain, Treble, and Output stay on the face. So does the rear MOD switch, which Warm Audio traces to a Jeff Beck request on the original pedal: it extends bass response for more low-end weight on the lower strings.

The manual calls the circuit a faithful recreation of the Klon Centaur, built with TL072 op amps, vintage-style diodes, carbon and metal film resistors, and a charge-pump regulator. Bypass is buffered. The knobs are the oxblood taper Warm Audio specs for this box. With gain held down and output set to taste, Warm Audio frames it as an always-on clean boost; push Gain and the same pedal is meant to move through edge-of-breakup into harder clipping.
It is a mono pedal, 6.35 mm in and out. The manual lists the enclosure at 114 mm wide, 64 mm deep, and 56 mm tall, weighing 0.32 kg. Power is a 9V battery or a standard 9V DC adapter, drawing 40 mA.
